Our Coaches


Kelli McClellan Hagen

Kelli has been coaching figure skating since 1997, and coaches both private and group lessons. She has been a member of ISI for 25+ years and is an ISI Gold test judge. She has also been an active member in USFS for 25+ years. She is a member of the Professional Skating Association and has received her basic accreditation rating. She has coached skaters from pre-preliminary moves and free skate through Novice, and is working to have gold level skaters in the near future.  She has had competitors compete local, state and regional competitions. Her coaching includes off-ice conditioning, off-ice and on-ice harnesses, strength training on and off the ice, power class, and edge classes. Kelli coaches techniques for singles, doubles, triples jumps along with spins and their variations and the importance of a well-rounded training program. She currently works for Boston Scientific and received her bachelor degree in Financing and Math from the University of Minnesota, where she also competed on a collegiate synchronized skating team.

Stephanie Coe

Stephanie is a highly experienced figure skater and coach with over 18 years of competitive skating experience. She is a rated member of the Professional Skaters Association (PSA) and a member of U.S. Figure Skating (USFS). Stephanie has competed extensively across the U.S. and Canada. Stephanie has achieved her gold-level tests in freestyle, moves in the field, and solo free dance. 

Stephanie has 7 years of private coaching experience and counting! She has worked as a professional skating instructor in both Minnesota and Washington. She specializes in moves in the field, freeskate, and power skating for both figure skaters and hockey players. She has coached students of all ages and levels and is dedicated to helping skaters achieve their goals both on and off the ice.

In addition to her skating and coaching background, Stephanie graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing. She is currently a pediatric oncology and bone marrow transplant nurse at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Despite her busy schedule, Stephanie continues to grow her skating and coaching education through seminars and camps she attends.
